Ian Godfrey (Slim)
As a veteran Truck driver, Ian has been at the helm of many trucks over the years and has a very unique set of skills, With previous employment with H.C. Wilson Transport, Ian gained a variety of experience with all manor of abnormal loads, travelling all over the UK & Europe. In 2021 Ian took the leap into running his own business and Launched ‘Slim’s Pilot Car Services’ as a 1 man operation. Fast forward to 2026 the company now has 4 Full time driver and 2 part time drivers.

Tony Prior
Tony has been with SPCS since 2023, having a HGV background tony has developed a ever growing skill set since joining the team. Tony has worked closely with our clients assisting with Loading and unloading of specialist cargo, Route Planning, Lead & Follow Pilot Car.
Tony has been a great asset to the SPCS team supporting Ian through health battles & assisting with running the company slim is an integral part of the team

Rachel joined SPCS in 2023 as a part time driver, Rachel has a long history with Ian having both previously worked at H.C. Wilson Transport, she is a welcoming face to the team at SPCS, Since starting Rachel has picked up a number of different skills along the way, and has built long term relationships with fellow drivers and customers.

DriverAndrew Foster ‘Fozzy’
Andrew joined SPCS in 2024, as our' ‘Northern Driver’ with a history in heavy haulage as a escort driver prior to SPCS, Andrew is a welcome edition to our team. Based in Scunthorpe this increases our coverage and reach enabling us to provide clients with more coverage. Andrew also runs a number of social events during the year part of ‘Swittas Linconshire Vans and Cars with Lights
Andrew is the Pilot of ‘Herman the German’ one of our Sprinter vans.
Andrew attends a number of truck shows each year, if you see him pop and say Hi.
